WikiLeaks starts releasing confidential and secret US Embassy cables. I’m torn between a very human curiosity on one side, and skepticism w.r.t. this IMHO unethical kind of whistle blowing on the other side. Do we really desire to live in a world without secrets… and without privacy? Shouldn’t talks between diplomats and foreign leaders enjoy the same privilege of privacy as talks between two lovers in their bedroom?
NATO endorses Missile Defense, invites Russia
On November 19th, 2010, NATO endorsed the common Missile Defense System, extending the US Missile Defense to all of NATO. Russia has been invited to join as well, and is likely on board. That’s a huge step towards world peace and deserves huge praise.

The Pirate Bay’s user database was hacked by an Argentinian security researcher, who got access to IP addresses and E-Mails of torrent uploaders. TPB failure to hash those very sensitive data before storing them in their database is a major FAIL w.r.t. data protection.
